Campus
Cape Fear Academy is located on a well-maintained 47-acre campus that includes the McNeill Fine Arts Center and two sets of athletic facilities. The main campus houses our Athletic Center, a complex with two gymnasiums and an additional grass turf field; the second set of athletic facilities is across the street from the main campus and consists of the Meehl Field House with one synthetic turf field and one grass field. Three classroom buildings, a dedicated cafeteria, several playground areas, two courtyards, a greenhouse, and six tennis courts complete the campus composition.
Cape Fear Academy's 47-acre campus is situated in mid-town Wilmington off College Road.
The Welcome Center is situated at the center of campus and is where visitors begin their tour of our campus.
Students gather in the Upper School Bell Quad outside of Cameron Hall, a common spot for gatherings and activities as well as outdoor study space.
The Board Room in Cameron Hall is one of our primary meeting spaces on campus, used for a variety of student and parent meetings and equipped with video conferencing technology.
The Bellamy Tennis Center features 6 full size tennis courts and is the site of home matches for our Boys and Girls tennis teams.
The Brown Family Theatre inside the Erin E. McNeill Fine Arts Center is home to many musical and theatrical performances throughout the year.
The Science and Innovation Center includes classrooms for our Middle and Lower School students, including one with equipment such as 3D printers, a laser engraver, heat press, and much more.
One of two gyms in the Athletic Center, the Main Gym hosts a variety of activities and sports like volleyball and basketball as well as school assemblies.
One of two gyms inside the Athletic Center, the Bruce B. Cameron Gym is home to Lower School PE and hosts our Middle School indoor sports like Volleyball and Basketball.
Cape Fear Academy is located in beautiful Wilmington, NC, less than 3 miles from the Intracoastal Waterway and around 9 miles from both Carolina and Wrightsville beaches.
